Age of UPI: What’s next in the horizon

With approximately 300 million individuals and 50 million merchants actively using UPI in India, the volume of transactions flowing through the system is staggering. Notably, person-to-merchant transactions are expected to constitute 75 percent of all the UPI by 2025, underscoring the significant behavioral shift in what was once a predominantly cash-driven economy.
